SERVER UPGRADE 15th and 16th September 2016
Due to essential Health Board computer server upgrade the surgery will not have access to computer systems on the afternoon of Thursday the 15th of September and the morning of Friday the 16th of September. Thursday afternoon calls will be diverted to NHS 24 however the surgery will receive calls on Friday morning. We will see all emergencies as required on Friday morning and try and accommodate routine requests as we are able. Please allow an additional 24 hours for repeat prescription requests due to not having access to patient notes. We apologie in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

All primary care practices are contracted to provide ‘essential’ services, that is basic treatment of people who are ill. We also provide the following ‘additional’ services:
- Child Health Surveillance, together with the Health Visiting Team
- Contraceptive Services
- Maternity Services in the ante natal and post natal period together with the midwifery team.
- Routine immunisation of children
- Immunisation of adults in relation to travel (discuss 4-6 weeks before travel)
- Cervical smears
- Freezing of warts and other small skin lesions
We also provide the following ‘enhanced’ services:
Annual flu immunisation for the elderly and those at risk Regular blood test monitoring for patients with various conditions
The practice is located at the corner of Neilston Road and Orr Street. Street parking is readily accessible in the vicinity. Situated on a main bus route and close to Canal Street Station. We register patients in the PA2 postcode area. See practice location map.
Our staff are in the reception area from 8.00am to 6.00pm from Monday to Friday. Routine appointments are available daily, up to 72 hours in advance, with some slots held for urgent matters arising on the day. There are specific slots available for Doctors to pre-arrange return appointments for patients who require follow up visits. If you cannot get an appointment with your usual GP arrangements can be made to see an alternative GP, or a message can be left for the GP to assess your condition and facilitate the required treatment.
